The loss of lives in this incident raises serious concerns about aircraft maintenance, safety protocols, and operational oversight. ACUC’s key demands:
- Independent audit of all GAF aircraft maintenance records.
- Safety inspections on all helicopters and planes in active service.
- Public release of findings and corrective measures.
- Strengthening of aviation safety oversight bodies.
- Clear accountability for failures in safety systems.
